Week in Review!

I feel like I haven't posted forever but it's only been like 3 days. I figured I'd fill you in on my week...

Here is the list I posted of what I would be doing this week on spring break with updates of how each went:

1.) Celebrate Josh's birthday (Which is Sunday): We did and it was a good one, you've probably seen my post
2.) Taxes: Hmmmm, somehow everyday I forget about this until about 9 or 10 at night and not something I want to start that late. But I will get them done some time this weekend... HOPEFULLY
3.) Clean: I cleaned the laundry room very nicely. It's a small room, but I wiped walls down and scrubbed the floor on my hands and knees so I was pretty proud of it. Plus we got our new washer and dryer and they are so AWESOME!!
4.) Watch UofL basketball: I watched them last Sunday and it was a sad, sad day. They didn't play well and lost so their season is over BUT the UofL women's team made it to the final four so I will be checking them out this weekend. It's the first time they have ever made it to the final four, so it's pretty cool!
5.) Clean: I got the dishes watched!!!
6.) Make important phone calls that can only be made during work hours that I never seem to be able to do at work: I did do this, I am now able to get to my bank account online again seeing how I had forgot my password and locked myself out, talked with a credit card company, talked to my doctor's office to figure out where I have to go Monday, and cancelled an order for something that I was supposed to get for free yet they continued to send them to me and charged me every time I got one after the first... Oh and I AM getting refunded for those I returned
7.) Clean: Bought a file cabinet and organized all of our papers and stuff!!!
8.) Go Couch shopping: We may go Saturday to look, but any purchases will have to wait until tax check comes in which should be motivating me to get those done!!
9.) Sleep a lot: YES I DID!!!!!!!
10.) Clean, Clean, Clean!!!!!!!!!!! Not as much cleaning is done yet, but tomorrow is another day and my plans are the rest of the kitchen, living room, and bathroom. It will get done!!!

Other things I did this week worth mentioning:
- Tuesday night I went and had dinner with an old friend of mine. We found each other on Myspace and Facebook, and have been chatting and catching up through there, and finally met up for dinner. It was a good dinner and so good to really sit down and talk with her!

- Wednesday I didn't do much except play on the computer. I get so easily addicted to those yahoo downloadable games. I just do the free download and play until it expires. It's a very bad addiction!!!!!
This is also the day I got the dishes done. And when I say dishes I mean there were a whole lot of dishes. I was once again holding out until Josh got tired of not having any clean plates and silver ware. But I realized this wasn't going to be an issue for him when he bought plastic silverware at Walmart the other day and when we got home he said he wished he would have gotten some paper plates. What can I say MEN!!!!!!!!!!!!! Another reason I finally did them was because our landlords were supposed to be coming over to get their washer, but they didn't make it cause the guy needed help getting it in the truck and Josh ended up having to work late. Oh well, at least it made me finally get up and do them!!!!

- Thursday (today) I dyed my hair which was very much needed!! I gave up on the friend who told me she was going to check her schedule and let me know when she could do it for me like 2 and 1/2 weeks ago... I just went and got me a home kit and I must say I did a very good job!! No more grey for me, for now anyway!!!
Went to the pet store where my brother works to get flea medicine for the pets so that we don't get infested. About 30 seconds away it began to pour down rain. After waiting in my car in the parking lot for it to let up, I decided to just make a run for it. When I got inside, I played with the cute little puppies for a minute as my brother was with a customer, when the electricity decided to go out!!! It was out for about 5 minutes then came back on so it was alright.
Josh got home and we decided to go get burgers at WW Cousins an awesome Hamburger place in town. I'm not for sure if they are all over the place or not, but if you have one around you you should really visit the place cause it's some of the best burgers I've ever had! Before we went, we ran past the pet store again to drop something off to my brother and invited him to meet us for dinner. He had about 1/2 hour of work left so we went to Bed, Bath and Beyond while we waited for him. We got a few things, nothing important but I always like looking around that store at the things I wish I could have!!!!!!!! Dinner was delicious and very fun. We actually ended up seeing my Aunt and Uncle there so that was cool too!!

So it's been a great week so far, but coming to an end quickly. I can't believe tomorrow is already Friday! Nothing planned as of yet for the rest of the week, besides that cleaning I mentioned for tomorrow. I hope you all are having a great week as well!
